Mid-week message for February 19th

"The Lord spoke to Moses, saying: Speak to all the congregation of the people of Israel and say to them: You shall be holy, for I the Lord your God am holy." -Leviticus 19:1-2


This week's sermon, "In simple terms," is based on the passage from Leviticus 19:1-2, 9-18. In this reading, Moses relays the message from the Lord describing, in simple terms, the conditions upon which the people are to base the life of the community.



*What does it mean to be a community of faith?
*What are the limits to our responsibility to the community we live in?
*What is the connection between how we treat our neighbors and our relationship to the Lord?
