Look in the mirror and see the face that is the canvass on which an ashen cross might be drawn. Pause for a moment and remember that we will once again be fitted with new sandals for our forty-day Lenten journey. Repentance bows our heads low. God's love, grace, and forgiveness lifts our heads up again. Today is Ash Wednesday.
