Our worship today was blessed, in part, by the return of most of our choir members, back from summer vacations! They really lend a special touch to our service each Sunday.
At the start of the service, Bill Lester, with the capable assistance of Rueben, gave another in the series of historical moments of the First UMC. We are learning so much about our heritage as a faith community through these weekly talks.
The McCamey Convalescent Center was a lively place this afternoon with a majority of the residents in attendence at the service. Cytha Peters, Bill & Bobbie Lester and Belinda Alkula were on hand to share communion and their singing voices with the residents.
