We're Celebrating in McCamey

Baptism of the Lord Sunday is always a cause for celebration, and today at the First UMC it was!
Our worship was a joy-filled experience! Cytha Peters offered several musical gifts, and the choir lent their voices to a morning unlike any seen at FUMC in a long time.

What made this day so amazing:  Four baptisms and six new members who joined the congregation! Pastor Charles' sermon focused upon the baptisms (two adults and two children) and the vows taken by the new members who joined.

The worship this afternoon at the McCamey Convalescent Center was also a great time of fellowship. We are continuing to meet in the hallway (due to the construction work in the dining room), but that doesn't stop the residents and others from worshipping our amazing God!

Such a day -- thanks be to God for all we experienced today!
