Farewell to Cleatus Brooks



The community gathered this morning to say its goodbye to Cleatus Brooks at the Resthaven Cemetery.  The strong wind and hazy conditions (due to the wildfires in west Texas).
The service graveside service this morning included a detachment from the VFW Post 4372 (Odessa, TX) .  The squad included a vet who had served in US Army Special Forces (Green Beret), one from 1st Cav Division, one from the 26th Infantry Division (all in Viet Nam) and one from the 8th Air Force (WWII).
