Tonight's UMW meeting had a festive atmosphere as we gathered in the fellowship hall for the annual supper honoring the mothers & daughters in our fellowship. To begin our time together, we enjoyed a delicious supper of salads, desserts and cold tea!
Following the business portion of the meeting, Pastor Charles led a program about Pentecost. Everyone was shown a copy of the New Testament (in a different language) and asked to find Acts, chapter 2. It was easier in some languages than it was in some others! Among the eleven languages were German, Finnish, Welsh, Greek and even short-hand. It is exciting to realize that no matter which language we use, it is still the same God of whom we speak!
