One Year Ago Today....

One year ago today, folks in all the area towns were eagerly awaiting the grand opening of the brand-new 3-million-dollar Wellness Center (WC) by the McCamey County Hospital District (MCHD) in McCamey, Texas:  Yee-haw!  The WC t-shirts were being distributed to MCHD volunteers and residents of its convalescent center.  Click here to see and read ALL about it! 

P.S.  The grand opening of the WC was on July 20th last year.  This year, on Wednesday, July 20th, the MCHD will have special one-year-anniversary activities at the WC from 10:00 a.m. to 2 p.m.  At 10:00 a.m., there will be a very special dedication of the beautiful "hope fountain," the lovely rock fountain outside the WC which was lovingly provided by the the Lester and Shipman families.  Afterwards, there will be refreshments in the board room.  AND... at the WC, there will be giveaways, blood pressure checks, wellness and nutrition evaluations and m-o-r-e!  Mark your calendars, everyone!  It will be THE PLACE TO BE on July 20th in McCamey, Texas!
