December's UMW meeting


The December meeting of the United Methodist Women in McCamey was held tonight at the home of Peggy and Jack Garner. Cytha Peters offered the program which included readings from Luke 2:1-20 and Matthew 2:1-23. Prior to enjoying the annual Christmas potluck, Theodora Matthews read to the unit the story, "A Cup of Christmas Tea" which was a such a nice way to end the program.


The potluck included some homemade "Christmas" tamales which are a tradition for this unit at Christmastime.

Attending tonight were Belinda Alkula & Pastor Charles, Louise Carll, Jack & Peggy Garner, Bobbie Lester, Theodora Matthews, Jean Myrick and Cytha Peters.
